Children’s Studio of Architecture opens its summer play centers for Young Architects! Classes, games, trips and workshops are tailored to the needs of children aged 6 to 12 years.
The kids participating will gain new knowledge about architecture thanks to the daily workshops. There will be no place for crankiness or boredom, as the children will learn through play. The ins and outs of 3D printing are presented in the form of games, excursions and surprises so the kids can learn, from scratch, how to create and prepare their own designs for 3D printing. Each participant is provided with support and presented with the Young Architect package which enables them to search for answers to such questions as: Where in the world are the most innovative buildings created? What did the workshop of a designer used to look like, and what is it today?, or, Can the 3D printer can print everything, really?
All classes are scheduled between the 7:30 am and 5:00 pm. During this time, children create crazy, innovative objects, learn about 3D printing, create their own printed models and participate in tours around unusual constructions which allows them to get to know the latest technological developments. The workshops are headquartered in the Cognitive Center at the Centennial Hall, whose surroundings (Szczytnicki Park and the Pergola) are a perfect space for team games and activities.
The organizers provide: the support of cultural managers and educators from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, full, healthy meals (4 meals) with the possibility to adapt the diet to the individual needs of children and accident insurance.
Pricing and the registration form can be found on the organizer’s website.
