“Symbols of Christmas” is a four-hour workshop, during which participants will create stars, angels and felt baubles and floral compositions. Fun with plant materials is aimed at 7 year old children and older, while work with felt is aimed at children aged 10 to 15 years old.
The free family Christmas workshop “Symbols of Christmas” will be held on Saturday, December 12, at the Agora Cultural Center. It will take 4 hours – from 10 am to 2 pm.
The younger group of participants will be led by Marek Kucharski, who will organize florist classes: parents with children will create plant Christmas ornaments and decorations on the table, including Christmas trees, stars and angels. For their creation, they will use environmentally friendly materials, used traditionally by folk artists such as straw, hay, pine needles, and leaves.
Teenage participants aged 10 – 15 years old will be able to come alone or with friends, so that under the eye of a visual artist, Katarzyna Zięba, they can create baubles from felt. The workshops will be completed with the dressing of the Christmas tree in the lobby of Agora.
