Recruitment for participation in the second National Biennale of Student Arts has started. Young people can create and invent everything related to applied art. The Biennale is intended to teach and enable the development of creativity in handicrafts.
This year’s Biennale opens its doors to a larger number of participants. The organizers of this year’s qualifications and exhibitions are the City of Wrocław, School of Fine Arts and Fabryczna Youth Center in Wrocław.
The event is available to participants from 3 to 19 years old from all over Poland.
“We want to show products traditionally classified as crafts such as ceramics, jewelry, textiles and furniture, but also clothing, fine interior furnishings and toys” says Małgorzata Malarska, the teacher of the School of Fine Arts.
The Biennale is not a competition. The organizers reserve the right, however, to distinguish the most interesting works. To do this, jurors including leading names in Polish design, will visit the Biennale exhibition. A new feature of this year’s gala will be presentations about the distinguished works, personally performed by the participants.
To participate in the second National Biennale of Applied Arts just read the rules, and then complete and submit the entry form. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2014! All the necessary information is available at the Wrocław Education website.
