How do you imagine the European Capital of Culture? Make a film out of it!

The seventh edition of a competition for a short film about Wrocław has started. This year the films are to promote Wrocław as European Capital of Culture 2016. Total prize pool is 30 thousand zloty.

We encourage you to participate in the next edition of the „Do you Wrocław? Take Wrocław”, which has already become a permanent fixture in the cultural calendar of the city. The competition is aimed at both professionals, including advertising agencies, and amateurs. Films are to be short (from 30 to 60 seconds) and may be made with any technique and equipment. They can be shot with a digital camera, mobile phone or a camera. The works can combine film with animation techniques or be entirely animated.

Videos should show the advantages of our city as a capital of culture and encourage viewers to visit Wrocław in 2016. Participants will have a chance to show you how Wrocław inspires and attracts them in this role and what it can offer.
