In the old days the sneaky pranks of the Oder Goblin terrorized residents of Wroclaw, but the arrival of Well-wisher to the town put an end to his evil actions. Thanks to Well-wisher, the capital of Lower Silesia finally attracted more friendly dwarfs that eventually found their home here.
Wroclaw city guards noticed the positive role of Well-wisher in bringing order and they have decided to get some help for him in this difficult duty. “Let’s try to create a portrait of a dwarf guard who will become a mascot of the municipal police, thus helping to keep law and order in Wroclaw,” said Waldemar Forysiak, spokesman for the municipal police.
So a contest was announced for the new dwarf, which will be used during the preventive work done by law enforcement officers in Wroclaw! It is aimed at students of secondary schools and high schools throughout the city. Works can be sent by September 16, 2016, and the authors of the best ones will be awarded.
Details and rules can be found on the Municipal Police website, and on Twitter.
