On December 14 at 3 pm at the fountain on Oławska Street, the fountain on Wita Stwosza Street, the square in front of the Garrison Church and on Kuźnicza Street, it will be possible to meet groups of carol singers, who will try to draw the attention of passers-by.
There will be plenty of gingerbread, hugs, wishes and songs from different countries and regions of the world. At 3.30 pm the groups will meet by Wrocław Christmas tree at the Gołębi Square, where the Christmas carol singing will begin, enhanced by additional activities. At the end of the gathering, the participants will sing together two carols – “Silent Night” with verses in different languages and “God is born.”
Groups representing national minorities living in Poland will take part in the event: the Wrocław Branch of Association of Ukrainians in Poland, the Wrocław Branch of German Cultural and Social Association, the Association of Greeks in Poland – Odysseas, people of Czech and Finnish nationality and Wrocław senior choirs.
