The Children’s University is organizing meetings with Rectors of three Wroclaw Universities. The day will end with a leisure picnic, which will be held at the Academy of Physical Education (free entry).

Rector’s Day, on May 23, is not only a festival of academicians, but also small scientists. Children’s University invites not only regular “students”, but also all children interested in the initiative, along with parents and carers. This year, the Rectors of three Wroclaw universities – the University of Wroclaw, University of Life Sciences and the Academy of Physical Education – will provide office tours for children.

Little visitors will meet the representatives of prestigious universities, they will see their formal costumes and Rector’s insignia. They will be able to ask questions about the things that seem most interesting. There is also a chance that they will discover exciting and generally inaccessible places around university buildings. Most importantly, the organizers prepared scientific workshops for children. They are aimed at promoting curiosity towards the world.

The Festival of the University is not just feast for the mind, but also for the body. At the end of the day, one can go wild at the sport and leisure picnic, which will last from 1 pm to 3 pm at the stadium of the Academy of Physical Education at 25 Witelona Street. All physical activities will be held under the slogan “Healthy body healthy mind – this day is very kind!” Each child will receive a special assessment form, in which the judges will record the results of individual competition.

Unfortunately, the number of places is limited. However, one can just send an application form to monika.zwierko@ud.edu.pl to book their place in the free Rectors’ day. The form can be found here.

Depending on which university one visits, there will be different attractions. We recommend, therefore, that you refer to the following schedule.
