As a part of World Health Day, Wroclaw Dominican Gallery invites you for free use of the fitness club and gym. On site you will also be able to get advice from a nutritionist, a psychologist, a GP, a personal trainer, as well as measure blood pressure or cholesterol.
Organizers of the Health Day will be waiting for guests and shopping center customers on Saturday, April 11, from 11 am to 7 pm. Wroclaw Centre for Social Development is responsible for the selection of professional staff. Experts will show how to properly provide first aid and will train volunteers. Women will have the opportunity to learn breast self-examination from nurses, and what rehabilitation exercises they can carry out at home. Health Day will also be an opportunity to perform an ultrasound of the abdomen or measure glucose levels.
There will also be some educational activities. After all, Health Day is a great chance to learn a bit more about one’s own body. Volunteers will be able to get to know the composition of their body, learn how to read and understand food labels and get some insight into the subject of food safety.
On this day the Dominican Gallery will become not only a health center but it will also briefly become a center of promotion of active life styles. The Classic Fitness Club, located on the fourth floor of the Dominican Gallery, will provide free gym and sauna. Volunteers will be able to take advantage of consultation with personal trainers. Appointments should be made for free fitness classes. Details at: www.miastowformie.pl
Participants will be able to take part in competitions promoting health practices and win attractive prizes. We encourage you to take children, because there are educational games, such as “Teddy Bear Hospital” and face painting waiting for younger participants.
All events will be held in the Dominican Gallery (level -1) and Classic Fitness Club on the fourth floor. We invite you to track information about the event on Facebook.
