Wrocław Aquaparkis taking part in Zaczytani.org – a project where you can leave your books in a dozen places across the country and you can be sure that they will go to hospital patients. New libraries will be created in public institutions.
One of the places where you can leave books for this initiative is Wrocław Aquapark. Those hospitals most in need, including those for children, will be given the books collected. Children who take a book from the hospital bookcase will be able to keep it for themselves. This is to inspire in them a passion and desire to read, and stimulate their imagination.
The books will also go to hospices, as well as therapeutic and educational institutions and community centers.
“We want to provoke a social movement which will allow the creation of libraries for children and young people in hospitals, community centers, foster homes and hospices” says the Zaczytani.org website. “Institutions participating in the Zaczytani project are not encumbered with any costs as the books are provided free of charge.”
Books are collected in selected locations. They can be brought personally or sent by post to the following address:
ul. Mleczna 5

ul. Ruska 46 C
